We are located in western Rowan County between Salisbury and Mooresville with a Mt Ulla zip code. Joe and I raise Angus cattle and Katahdin hair sheep. We specialize in raising local pasture raised Angus beef and Animal Welfare Approved local pasture raised lamb. We graze over 100 acres of fescue pasture and supplement with soybean hulls to be sure the calves are gaining enough to laydown the intramuscular fat that gives beef it's taste and tenderness. In our farming menagerie, we also have Akbash livestock guardians, heritage breeds of chickens (Orpingtons and Aseels) and Mammoth Jackstock. Our focus is on grass management and good animal husbandry practices to produce the best beef and lamb eating experience possible. We enjoy having visitors who are interested in how we graze and raise our animals.
